social phobia
Hey guys and gals,
Great to read all your posts and know I am not alone, and also inspiring to read extracts that tell you you don't have to suffer from it for the rest of your life.
I am now 40, and had my first attack at the age of 15, it went underground for a while, however after living a life of immense stress, it came back severely at the age of 30, and hasn't really gone away. It is severely limiting to my life, and I suffer attacks every day, on the way to work in the car, and especially when I have to get out of the car and face lots of people, (I work at a large school. Today I have to train someone new, and meet up with my boss outside a busy area, so I am looking forward to this like a ton of bricks, NOT!!!
Nevertheless, I do feel somewhat better after reading your posts and that of many others who have devoted their time to help others with these types of phobias.
Thankyou again
