Caffeine and anxiety
I suffer from social phobia (blushing being the main symptom). Previously I drank a lot of caffeine in the form of diet coke, coke etc.
I gave up caffeine a couple of months ago - all that cola was costing too much money and too many trips to the toilet (with some difficulty - I didn't realise how strong cravings could be) and have noticed an improvement in that I don't feel as anxious anymore.

I didn't even realise there was a link between caffeine and anxiety until a couple of days ago, it turns out that anxiety is one of the main side effects of caffeine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caffeine#Anxiety_and_sleep_disorders).

So maybe if you drink a lot of caffeine and have anxiety you should see what happens if you cut it out of your diet (it takes about 5 days for withdrawal cravings to cease).
