Something I realised
I have been a sufferer of social phobia for a while now, and I only recently started to come out of it.
True, I still blush occasionally, but not for no reason, as it was before.
I have realised that blushing in itself is not a bad thing, is not a character flaw. I used to blush (after I had recovered from Social anxiety) and panic, thinking I was regressing to the pain of old.

If you look around, you will always see people who look uneasy and nervous.
It is normal to have nervous reactions to some situations, so if you do, don\'t beat yourself up over it.

I know what you mean.
Before ridding myself of my social anxiety I never before really believed that everyone gets nervous. True, I may have been more nervous than most people, but now that I've started attending social functions more I see that absolutely everyone experiences awkward moments.
I tried to not only alleviate my social anxiety, but my target was to never ever become embarrassed or feel awkward or out of place again. I then realised that I'm only human - an animal - and these feelings/reactions are natural and normal to everyone.
